ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Miss Megan McMahon and I am so excited to be your second grade teacher! I cannot wait to learn all about your student, but first I would like to tell you a little about myself.​

I grew up in Texas where I attended a mix of Catholic and public schools. I graduated from The University of Texas (Hook'em Horns!) with a B.S. in Applied Learning and Development. In my spare time I love to practice photography, spend time with my friends, dance, play board games, go to adoration, & read a good book!​

This will be my third year teaching. I previously taught in the Kent School District as a 1st grade and Kindergarten teacher. I am so excited to be joining the SJS community this year! I have a passion for all subject areas and love to have interactive and collaborative learning opportunities for students and families. ​

I LOVE being a teacher and feel so grateful to be at such a wonderful place like Saint Joseph! I cannot wait to spend the next year growing & learning with you and your student!
